Each of the key members of the operation have accumulated
more than 25 years of experience in the Austin metro area. This experience
includes market analysis; site acquisition; site entitlements (platting,
zoning, environmental issues, utilities and/or others); preliminary
design of civil and architectural improvements; preliminary cost estimate;
permitting of improvements; selection of general contractor and construction.
Ray
Wilkerson, President
Ray A. Wilkerson is the president and CEO of Ray Wilkerson Companies Inc. Mr. Wilkerson began his real estate career approximately 30 years ago in the development of residential subdivisions in Travis County, Texas. Subsequent events led to involvement in the commercial sector with investment and development in numerous successful ventures. In addition to being involved in real property development Mr. Wilkerson has been involved in the analysis, investment and management of a variety of other businesses including daycare, hotel and restaurant operations. As evidence of his considerable experience, Mr. Wilkerson has been asked to testify as an expert witness on numerous occasions and to speak for several national associations. He has been a regular speaker at the University of Texas Graduate School of Business. With the knowledge acquired through the variety of his business experience Mr. Wilkerson is eminently qualified to evaluate the economics of real property assets.
Mr. Wilkerson is a board member of Stewart Title of Austin, Colorado River Foundation Tributary League Endowment, and a founder and board member of the Heartgift Foundation. He is also vice chancellor of Knights of the Symphony and life member of the Austin Travis County Livestock Show. Wilkerson served as a member and Vice Chairman of the Texas Rehabilitation Commission from 1988-2001. Wilkerson is also former chairman of the Lower Colorado River Authority and was honored by the LCRA through the dedication of the Wilkerson Center for Colorado River Education in January 2009. In May of 2009, Mr. Wilkerson was appointed Gov. Rick Perry as presiding officer of the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2011.
Lauren Wilkerson, Vice President Marketing and Management
Lauren Wilkerson graduated from the Texas Christian University where she received a B.A. in Business Marketing. Upon graduation she returned to Austin and began working in the Office of Governor Rick Perry in the Legislative Office. From the Legislative Office she moved to the Governor’s Scheduling Office where she became Deputy Director of Scheduling. As Vice President of Ray Wilkerson Companies, Ms. Wilkerson is in charge of leasing, property management and marketing.
Ms. Wilkerson is an active volunteer in the Austin Community. She is a member of Friends of the Ronald McDonald House as well as a member of the Junior League of Austin. She served as co-chair of the HeartGift Golf Tournament in 2007. Ms. Wilkerson is a member of RECA (Real Estate Council of Austin) and is a licensed broker in the State of Texas.

Jim
Spence
Senior Consultant
Mr. Spence has over 30 years of experience
as a broker and consultant in the real estate business in Austin,
Texas. He has managed construction of a large number of various types
of residential and commercial buildings as well as the planning and
infrastructure construction for over 5,000 lots in the Austin-Metro
area. During the real estate recession in the late 1980s he managed,
leased, and sold numerous commercial properties for the FDIC and RTC. Recent
completed projects include Urgent Care Plus, an emergency medical
care facility and a major remodel, addition and new building for a
large church. Current projects include the permitting and construction
of a residential subdivision with water front lots on Lake Austin.

Staff
The office staff consists of individuals with expertise
in accounting and administration. Their extensive experience provides
the capability to quickly produce financial proformas, opinions of value,
market analyses, census reports, financial reports of managed properties,
and perform a myriad of other tasks that are required to provide superior
service to our clients.
Property
Maintenance Staff
The property maintenance staff is experienced in
construction and maintenance and thus provides a high level of service
to the tenants who occupy the managed properties.
